Earth Songs

Theme: Balancing Grief and Gratitude, a special circle on Fall Equinox

You are invited to Earth Songs, a local song circle near Harrisburg, PA.

The theme of this circle is aligned with Fall Equinox and the songs chosen are intended to balance grief and gratitude as the season shifts.

Community singing in the oral tradition uses no sheet music and relies on presence, good facilitation, and bits of memory.

Please do not bring a drum or any instruments, this is for voices only.

Song Circles are a non-performative space where all voices are welcome. There is no space for judgment of others’ voices.

Singing in a group creates a sense of belonging in your local community and embodied presence that is hard to find elsewhere.

If you’re not comfortable singing quite yet, come join us to sit with the land and the songs. You can join in at any point.

Come as you are. If you are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or despairing, we hope this experience will support you in a return to deep rest and delight.

The circle and all songs will be facilitated by Kendra Marie and Marissa Rose.

This event is best for adults and older children. We ask you to take this time to be in deep presence with us.

There may be events geared toward children someday, but for now, only bring children if they are attending to sing and can stay focused, listen to direction, and be involved. They will also need a ticket to attend.

You can always come last minute and pay $20 cash at the door (email us to ask for the location). Bring a friend too!
